Buffington Died Tuesday Morning Mr. Samuel Jacob Buffington, 72, died at his home near Milner Tuesday morning. Mr. Buffington had been employed for 25 years as shipping clerk for Carter Mill in Barnesville. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist church. Funeral services will be held in the New Hop church tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with the Rev. Z. L. Perdue and the Rev. Seaborn Winn officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Bessie Taylor, Mrs. Florence Edwards, both of Owasso, Mich., Mrs. Laura Horwell, Barnesville, Mrs. Margie Kimbell, Jackson, Mrs. Pauline Johnson and Mrs. Ruth Keadle, both of Barnesville; three sons, Marvin Buffington, Ft. Valley, Henry Buffington, Barnesville, Hiram Davies, Tifton, and two brothers, J.W. Buffington and J.C. Buffington, both of Zebulon. Haisten Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
