Ballard, Zebulon, Ga. Zebulon, Ga., January 29. - (Special.) - J.P. Ballard died here yesterday after an illness of several months. He was a veteran of the civil war, having served in the Forty-fourth Goergia [sic] regiment. Four daughters survive him, Miss Eva, Mary W., and Essie, and Mr. [s/b Mrs.] Foster. Interment will take place at the Methodist cemetery this afternoon.
