Flovilla, Ga., April 27. - (Special.) - Captain Thomas H.P. Bloodworth, recently from Atlanta, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.J. Partridge, at Flovilla, Ga., at 11 o'clock on the morning of April 26. Captain Bloodworth had lived in Atlanta for the past twenty -five or thirty years, where he has many friends and relatives. He served four years in the confederate army with great distinction. He was 66 years of age, and is survived by his daughters, Mrs. W.J. Partridge, and Miss Bessie Bloodworth, of Flovilla; four sisters, Mrs. E.T. Pounds, of Shellman, Ga.; Mrs. T.C. Hunt, of Laurel, Miss.; Mrs. S.A. McDowell, Atlanta, Ga.; Mrs. John Phenazee [sp], of High Falls, Ga.; C.M.G. Bloodworth, of Clarkston, Ga.; J.G.C. Bloodworth, Atlanta, Ga.; and Colonel O.H.P. Bloodworth, of Forsyth, Ga. Interment will be at Flovilla, Ga. Additional Comments: Son of Thomas Stokley Morgan Bloodworth and Frances Caroline Maxey. He married Susan Ann McDowell on 17 November 1864 in Pike County, Georgia. Buried in Flovilla City Cemetery, Butts County, Georgia.
