He had been ill for several weeks. In addition to his widow, Mrs. Frances Wilson Bottoms, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R.L. Davis and Mrs A.R. Buchanan, of Williamson, and Miss Lucy Bottoms, of Mullins, S.C.; six sons, J.S., of Punta Gorda, Fla.; J.O., W.B., H.E., R.H., and R.B. Bottoms, all of Williamson; one sister, Mrs Sara Murphy, of Fayetteville, and two brothers, W.A. Bottoms, of Concord, and W.O. Bottoms, of Fayetteville. Funeral arrangements will be announced after the arrival of his son from Florida.
