E. F. BAILEY DIES AT GARVIN Mrs. Elizabeth 'Newman' Bailey, 88, died Monday, March 15, at 9 p.m. at the home of her son, W. J. Williamson at Garvin. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Forest Hill Church with Rev. W. R. Merry in charge. Burial was in Forest Hill cemetery under direction of Chappell Funeral Home, Idabel. Mrs. Bailey, who was born in Georgia, professed religion early in life and united with the Baptist church. She was married to Henry Williamson and to this union eight children were born. After the death of Mr. Williamson she was married to Geo. Tillman Bailey, who died 17 years ago. She is survived by three sons, W. J. and E. T. Williamson , Garvin, Okla. and George Williamson, Valliant, Okla., three daughters, Mrs. D. W. Manley, Zebulon, Ga.; Mrs. L. L. Birdsong, Jacksonville, Texas; Mrs. J. M. McLeod, Garvin, Okla.; 47 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; one stepson, W. C. Bailey, Garvin, and one stepdaughter, Mrs. C. B.
