Coggin From his residence in Hollonville last Friday occurred the funeral of John L. Coggin who died as a result of the blows inflicted by Louis Henderson in a difficulty. The deceased was about fifty-seven years of age and had lived in that community all his life. He was a well -to-do planter, having accumulated some money by thrift and industry. He served the county as commissioner for four years. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.A. Drewry, of Griffin. A large number of friends were present to pay last respect. The interment took place in the Hollonville cemetery. The deceased is survived by his wife and six children, J.G. Coggin, Mrs. Mattie Brindle, of Griffin, Mrs. Lillie Chaffin, of Monroe, Lucille, Jewell and Willard Coggin. Friends extend sympathy to the bereaved ones in their sorrow.
