Cornell, Barnesville Barnesville, Ga., June 26 – (Special.) George C. Cornell, a well-known and highly-esteemed citizen of Barnesville, was buried here yesterday afternoon, the service occurring from the First Methodist church, of which he had been a loyal and an active member for many years. Rev. R.M. Dixon, the pastor, conducted the service. Mr. Cornell came here from Ohio at the close of the war and made an excellent citizen. He was a painter, and during all these years he had been an employee of the Smith Buggy factory. He was 72 years old. He is survived by one son, who is in the United States navy.
