Mrs. Fannie Dunn of 26 Lakeview avenue died Sunday morning at the Griffin-
Spalding County Hospital where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.
 
Mrs. Dunn was a native of Pike County and had made her home in Spalding County 
fo 30 years.  She was a member of the Palace Street Church of God.  Survivors 
include two daughters, Mrs. Frances Anthony and Mrs. Betty McGahee, both of 
Griffin; seven sons, Edward R. Dunn, Perry W. Dunn, Fred A. Dunn, Ralph E. 
Dunn, Travis W. Dunn and Bobby O. Dunn, all of Griffin; two stepdaughters, 
Mrs. Evelyn Eggleston and Mrs. Edna Perdue, both of Griffin; three stepsons, 
Jesse L. Dunn of Griffin, Benton A. Dunn of Barnesville and W. H. Dunn of 
Thomaston; a brother, Harvey Turner of Williamson; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa 
Presley, Mrs. Lena McDaniel, both of Thomaston and Mrs. Odessa Watson of 
Yatesville; 17 grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren and 21 stepgrandchildren.
 
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the 
Palace Street Church of God. The Rev. Walter A. Langdon, the Rev. Drew Goss 
and the Rev. Rich Bowen will officiate and burial will be in the Beulah 
Baptist Church cemetery in Pike County. The body will remain at Pittman Rawls 
Funeral Home until carried to the church to lie in state for 30 minutes prior 
to services. Friends may visit the family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. 
Dunn , 632 Meriwhether street.
