Duncan Dies Mr. J.T. Duncan, a Confederate veteran and a man well known throughout middle Georgia, died Tuesday night at the home of his son, Mr. G.L. Duncan, on Central avenue. His death was unexpected and occurred some time during the early morning hours. He occasionally had spells with his heart and to this his death was evidently due. Mr. Duncan was 72 years old and was a member of the Methodist church. He has traveled all over middle Georgia repairing stoves. For several years he had been making his home in Forsyth. The funeral will take place today, Thursday, from the home of his son, on Central Avenue, and will be conducted by Rev. J.M. Martin, after which the body will be buried in Zebulon street cemetery. Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife and two sons, Messrs. G.L. Duncan of Barnesville, and W.E. Duncan of Forsyth, to whom the sympathy of the people is extended in their sorrow.
