Barnesville, Georgia, Thursday, November 30, 1882

On Thursday night last, Rev. Jacob Buffington, of this county died after
a very short illness. He was one of the oldest inhabitants of the county
and had been a minister of the Baptist denomination for nearly a half
century. He has served as pastor of the Bethel Church for the past
thirty years and leaves many friends to mourn his loss.

Lovecey's maiden name was Wadsworth. She was the daughter of Archibald
Wadsworth and Clarissa Kenney.
