Huckaby. She had not been in good health for some weeks, but the fatal illness only lasted a few hours, her death coming as a great shock to her family and friends. Mrs. Huckaby had just passed her 79th birthday and was truly a good woman. She had been a loyal member of the Methodist church for a number of years. The funeral was conducted by her pastor, Rev D. S. Patterson, after which her body was laid to rest in the cemetery at Williamson, beside her devoted husband, who preceded her to the grave years ago. She is survived by two sons, three daughters, several step-children and a number of grandchildren. Two widowed sisters also survive her. We wish to extend our thanks to all who were so kind in helpfulness and sympathy during the short illness and the death of our mother. With words we can't thank you, but with a heart of gratitude we ever cherish the deeds of kindness and words spoken in sympathy during those dark hours. Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Huckaby and family (Transcribed - Dawn M Hill)
