It is said that death loves a shining mark and this is eminently true in this case. She was a devoted wife a loving and true mother and a devoted Christian. “Her children rise up and call her blessed, her husband also praises her.” After a touching and appropriate talk and the beautiful burial services of her church by Brother Weathers, we laid her body to rest in the old cemetery at Salem to await the resurrection of the just and commend the sorrowing and bereft family to “The God of all grace.” May he bless them in this their sorrows.
