William Henry Graham, well known and beloved minister, died at his home at Vega last Saturday and the funeral and burial occurred Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Century Nelson Church near Meansville, Rev. Gideon Horne and Rev. G. H. Marsh conducting the services. The Masonic Lodge of Meansville concluded the services at the grave. Mr. Graham was born in Gwinnett County, Georgia, in 1845. His father and grandfather were ministers as are also one brother and one son. He joined the church at an early age and entered the gospel ministry in 1872. He was noted as an evangelist and organizer. At the time of his death he was a member of Bethany Congregational Church at The Rock. Mr. Graham was made a Free Mason at Zebulon in 1872 and at the time of his death was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Meansville. He was active in the Ministry from 1872 until 1916, when the health of himself and wife began failing seriously. Since 1917 he has been failing fast and after great suffering for many months he peacefully passed away last Saturday. He is survived by his loving and faithful companion and five children besides a large number of grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
