Sikes Is Buried Today Mrs. Lula Caroline Lynch Sikes, 80, widow of Mr. John Bennett Sikes, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. R. Stanfield, in Rover Thursday. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 3 o'clock at Haisten's Chapel with Rev. Hugh Lindsey officiating. Burial was in New Hope Baptist cemetery. Pallbearers were Wilson Norton, J.H. Parham, C.W. Banks, Robert Carden, Theodore Wilder and Albert Blanton. Mrs. Sikes was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was born in Pike County and lived in the Griffin community all of her life. In addition to her daughter she is survived by five sons, J.E. Sikes, W.P. Sikes, J.S. Sikes, J.L. Sikes, and E.B.
