Griffin Mrs. Lilla Lois Huckaby, wife of William T. Huckaby, died at the home in East Griffin last night at 8:30 o'clock after an illness of a week. Mrs. Huckaby one of the most beloved women of East Griffin was taken ill last Saturday with pneumonia and despite every medical attention steadily grew worse. Her death has brought sadness to a wide circle of friends who had learned to love her during her stay in this city. She was the daughter of Noah Stewart and Sally Coggin Stewart of Pike County. Mrs. Huckaby was a member of Devotie Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Daisy Belle Hand. a grandson, Robert Earl Hand, five sisters, Mrs. E.G/ Simmons, Griffin; Mrs. G.C. Butler, Thomaston; Mrs. H.C. Pirkle, Atlanta; Mrs. L.E. Turner, Fielddale, Va; and Mrs. Bloomer Battle, Griffin; and four brothers, C.H. Stewart of Barnesville; Cliff Stewart of Atlanta; and R.A. and E.P. Stewart of Griffin. Funeral services will be held from the home Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. J.A. Drewry will officiate. Interment will be in Hollonville cemetery with Haisten Brothers in charge. The following brothers-in-law will serve as pall-bearers and are requested to meet at the residence at 12:45 o'clock: H.C. Huckaby, J.D. Huckaby, M.A. Huckaby, A.C. Huckaby, E.G.
