Mrs. Scroggin Dies

Mrs. Kittie Langford Scroggins, oldest resident of Pike county
and a sister of Judge G.W. Langford, of Barnesville, died at 
the home of Mrs. J. L. Hamlett, near Molena, last Friday.
SHe was 97 years and nine months old at the time of her
death.
She was the widow of the late Laban Scroggins and is 
survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Cox, Thomaston, and 
Mrs. Annie Ross, Troy, Ala., and two brothers, Judge Langford
and Joseph Langford, Enterprise, Ala.  She is also survived
by twenty grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
