C., Griffin, died at the Griffin-Spalding County Hospital late Saturday night. She had been ill since May and was a admitted to the hospital Saturday morning. She was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Funeral services were held this morning at 11 o'clock from Haisten Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean C. Houk officiating. Burial was in the Coggin Family Cemetery in Pike County. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Mattie Halsey and Mrs. W. H. Dingler, both of Griffin; three sisters, Mrs. Leila Trammell of Rex, Ga., Mrs. Annie Milan and Mrs. J. N. Hood, both of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Mrs. J. M. Bassett of Griffin, Mrs. Wilson Haynes of Brooks, and Sgt James A. Dingley of the U.S. Air Force stationed in Wichita, Kan.
