Rev. Charles B Holder, pastor of the Griffin First Christian church, officiated. Burial was in the churchyard with Haisten Brothers, funeral directors, in charge. Pallbearers, all of them nephews of the deceased, were Lewis and Arland Moore, Vinson Terrell, Roy Shell, Lynwood Miller and Henry Brooks. Mrs. Moore died Sunday morning at 6 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. J. R. Hancock, in Mt. Zion District, near Zetella. She had been ill for three weeks. Mrs. Moore widow of Mr. Ellis Moore, was born and reared in Pike county, and had been a member of the Bethany Christian church since the age of 14 years. Surviving in addition to her daughters, is a son, W.M. Moore, of Griffin.
