J.E. Harris, Concord

Griffin, Ga., February 26. - (Special.) Hon. J.E. Harris, one of the best-
known and most prominent citizens of Pike County, died at his home at Concord 
Friday after a long illness, and was buried yesterday from New Hebron church. 
Mr. Harris was an aged man and is survived by a wife and several children. He 
was a confederate veteran, and did valiant service in the war.
