Mr. Jerry Harrison 
Passes to Great Beyond

Mr. Jerry Jefferson Harrison was 
born in Meriwether county near the
Warm Springs July 11th, 1853, and 
died at his home near Zebulon, Ga., 
April 17th, 1918.
In 1876 he moved to this county 
with his father, Mr. Isham Harrison, 
his mother having died the 
(ye)ar before.  He was the oldest of 
(ei)ght children; five brothers and 
(thre)e sisters, one sister and two 
(br)others still living.  Early in 
(li)fe he joined Bethesda Baptist 
(c)hurch in Meriwether County.
October 30th, 1879 he was married to 
Miss Addie Hays, of this county.  To 
this union was born two sons and three 
daughters, on son and three daughters 
yet living.  
A good man, a loving husband and 
an indulgent father is gone.
