Hatchett, died unexpectedly Sunday night, February 20, 1977, at her residence. Mrs. Hatchett had been in declining health for some time. She was a member of the Neal Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frances Guy of Molena; seven sons, Noble Putnam, Robert Hatchett, C.A. Hatchett, Travis Hatchett, Frank Hatchett, all of Concord, John Lee Hatchett of Williamson and Paul Hatchett of Griffin; 34 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, February 22, 1977, at 3:30 o'clock in the Neal Baptist Church. The Rev. I.G. Johnson and the Rev. David Fortner officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. The body remained at Haisten Funeral Home in Griffin until carried to the church one hour prior to the funeral hour. The Pike County Journal extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
