Robert Earl
   Funeral services for Mr. Robert Earl Hatchett, 84, of Concord 
will be held Wednesday, July 9, 1997, at 11 a.m. at the Neal Baptist 
Church with Rev. Jim Lester officiating.  Burial will follow in the 
church cemetery.
   Mr. Hatchett died Sunday, July 6, 1997, at Upson Regional 
Medical Center.
Moody Funeral Home of Zebulon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hatchett was a long-time deacon of the Neal Baptist Church 
and a life long resident of Pike County.
   Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Long of Columbus 
and Mrs. Betty Cato of Concord; two brothers, Mr. Jay Hatchett 
of Concord, Mr. Paul Hatchett of Griffin; one sister, 
Mrs. Frances Guy of Molena; seven grandchildren and four 
great-grandchildren also survive.
   Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 9 p.m. 
Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
