Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, November 15, 1907 Mrs. Bessie Kendrick Dead Miss Bessie Kendrick, wife of Mr. Lemuel Kendrick, died at her home in Atlanta last Thursday after a brief illness. The deceased was a sister of Mrs. Dr. Graves and a daughter of Mr. S.J. Eason, whom she had frequently visited here and was well known in Zebulon. She leaves a husband and one child, one year old, and many relatives whose friends sympathize with the bereaved in the loss. The deceased has been a consistent member of the Central Baptist church for a number of years. Her pastor, Rev. A.C. Motley, was in Florida at the time of her death and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.W.R. Jenkins. The interment took place at Westview cemetery in Atlanta.
