Towaliga Messenger, July 1894

She died of dysentery at her son's, J.H. Lawrence, in Molena, Pike county, 
Georgia, May 7, 1894. She was born in Chatham County, N.C., April 7, 1809, 
being in her 86th year at the time of her death. Born Francis K. Wicker, she 
married Zachariah Lawrence, in Chatham County, N.C., in 1827, and moved to 
Pike county, Georgia, in 1828. Since his death in 1861, she has remained a 
widow. She was in the constitution of Emmaus Church near Thomaston, Georgia, 
and the only one living now who was in the Constitution. She was the mother of 
two children, one son and one daughter, the daughter dead, sixteen 
grandchildren and thirty-seven great-grandchildren. Her remains were deposited 
beside her husband at Mt. Olive Church. - B.F. Matthews , Molena, Georgia, May 
18th, 1894
