Wiley Lynch Dies In Pike County On November 3, 1937, at her home in Pike County, Mrs. Susan Virginia Lynch passed away at the age of 87, leaving a husband of the same age, and two grand- children to mourn her loss. Interment was on November 5th, 1937. Mrs. Lynch lived with her husband 66 years, and was a member of Flat Rock Primitive Baptist church, having been baptised [sp] by the late Elder Ira L. Gunter of McDonough, Georgia. Her membership dated about 62 years. Mrs. Lynch was the daughter of Mrs. Sara Green Bragg of Pike County, now Lamar county. Of a family of six girls Mrs, Lynch leaves three sisters to mourn her loss: Mrs, Sallie Huggens, 84, Mrs. Mattie Evans, 82, and Mrs Carrie Holt, 79. She was the mother of one child, a son, William Joseph, who died some twelve years ago. Funeral services were conducted by her Pastor, Elder Geo. D. Goddard, at New Hope Church where her body was laid away in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives.
