Lifsey Dies Mr. B.H. Lifsey died at his home Near Fincher’s church Tuesday morning, having been sick only one week. He was born in this county in 1832 and has lived in the community in which he was born all of his life, being 73 years of age at the time of his death. He had been a devoted and consistent member of Fincher’s church since early boyhood. He was an active Sunday School worker, and had been teacher of a class for probably 40 years. The funeral services were conducted at his church by his pastor, Rev. J.L. Ware, of Milner. Interesting talks were made by a number of his old friends and comrades who spoke of his usefulness and faithfulness as a soldier and a citizen. He did all the good in the community that he could. He was a kind and devoted husband and father and a good neighbor. Everybody lost a good friend in his death. The family have the sincerest sympathies of friends.
