In Memory of Mrs. S.S. McLendon

Mrs. S.S. McLendon passed away April 23, 1932, at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. J.W. Wilkerson of Near Concord.

She had been sick for many months and confined to her bed.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.W. Wilkerson and Mrs. B.M. Connell, 
of near Concord; four sons, L.S., W.L., and P.E., of near Concord and R.A. of 
Thomaston; one brother, W.L. Acaine of Folkston, Ga.; 24 grandchildren and six 
great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Neal Baptist church April 24 at 4 o’clock 
and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Ernest Bowles. - By a grandchild.
