Means Charles H. Means of Memphis, Tenn., born in Georgia, died Wednesday at a Memphis private hospital. He was 65. Mr. Means was a native of Meansville, Ga., named for his grandfather, James W. Means. He was a resident of Atlanta for many years but moved to Memphis about 20 years ago. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Memphis. Burial will be at Memphis. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edna Mae Means; a brother, J. W. Means, Sr., Atlanta; sisters, Mrs. J. E. Cameron and Mrs. Willie Bramblett, both of Atlanta. Additional Comments: Charlie was born 14 August 1896 in Meansville, Pike Co., GA, and was the son of William Herman Means and Allie (Sullivan) Means. Based on this date of birth and his age of death given in the obituary, it appears that he died ca 1961.
