He was born in Pike County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jesse W. Milner, of Concord, Ga., and was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby S. Milner; a son, Houston; a daughter, Merribeth; 1 brother, A.G. Milner of Williamson, Ga., 5 sisters, Mrs. T.W. Daniel and Mrs. John V. Cochran of Decatur; Mrs. V ester Brooks, of Griffin; Mrs. Charles Adams, of Thomaston, and Mrs. Jim Owen of Concord, Ga. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 Wednesday at the Carey Park Baptist Church in Northwest Atlanta, J. Allen Couch officiating. Burial was in Westview. ~~~~~~ MILNER — The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Orall T. Milner, Miss Merrie Beth Milner, Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Butler, Huston Milner, A/2C Richard Sexton, Nicholas and Michael Sexton, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Daniels, Mr. and Mrs. John Cochran, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Owens, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Graves Milner and the grandson are invited to attend the funeral of Mr. Orall T. Milner Wednesday at 2 o'clock from the Carey Park Baptist Church. Rev. Glen Hanie will officiate, Interment will be in Westview Cemetery. J. Allen Couch & Son. Additional Comments: Original obituary was found tucked between pages of an old Bible belonging to the family of, and purchased at the December 2007 estate sale of, James C. Owen of Concord, Pike County, GA. Name and date of newspaper from which it came are unknown. Orall Milner, b. abt 1906 (according to census), died 9 Feb. 1959 (Georgia Death Index) and was the brother of Claire Milner Owen (now deceased), wife of James C.
