Mrs. Oxford was the widow of the late Mr. W.B. [A.B] Oxford. She was reared in Concord and has lived there all her life and through her genial disposition and willingness to aid others had won for herself hundreds of friends who attested their love for her with the beautiful floral offerings. Mrs. Oxford is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. Paul Dunn; Mrs. Ed Beckham and one son, Mr. Grady Oxford; two sisters, Mrs. W.T.D. Oxford, of Atlanta, and Mrs. J.H. Smith, Zebulon. Funeral services were held for Mrs. Oxford Sunday afternoon at 3:30 with her pastor, Rev. T.J. Espy, officiating. Interment followed in the Old Hebron cemetery with R.F. Strickland Co., in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Sarah Jane Montgomery, daughter of Joseph R.
