Mrs. Ann Gregg Dead

Mrs. Ann Gregg of Williamson was found dead near her home last Thursday 
morning. She was in apparently good health and had gone out to carry a cow to 
the pasture. When found, she had the rope which held the cow around her neck, 
but the doctors seem to think she received a sun stroke which caused her death.

She was the mother of Mrs. J.C. Beauchamp. It was a severe shock to her family 
and friends.

Additional Comments:
This is Fetnie Anne H. Coggin, wife of George Croghan Gregg. She had been a 
widow since 1865 when her husband was killed in a magazine explosion in 
Virginia just after the confederate surrender at the end of the Civil War. She 
was buried in the Coggin Family Cemetery.
