Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, April 21, 1899 Mrs. W.H. Patterson Dead The death of Mrs. W.H. Patterson, nee Miss Tonnie Ford, which occurred at Sunny Side Wednesday morning, caused much sadness in Zebulon, her old home. Although she had been sick for weeks, the announcement of her death was a shock to her many Zebulon friends. Mrs. Patterson was the daughter of Mr. J.W. Ford, of this place. She was about 35 years old and resided here until about two years ago when she married Mr. Patterson. She was a true Christian and numbered her friends by her acquaintance. The remains were brought here Thursday morning. The funeral services conducted by Rev. M.M. Walraven, occurred at the Methodist church at 2:30 o’clock in the afternoon, after which the remains were laid to rest in the family lot in the Methodist cemetery.
