Death of Gordon Shivers

Mr. Gordon Shivers died Wednesday at his home in Williamson after a protracted 
illness of typhoid fever. He was about 23 years of age and leaves a devoted 
wife and little child, besides other relatives and friends, to mourn his death.

Additional Comments:
John Gordon Shivers was a son of John Wilson Shivers and Martha A. Pitts. He 
was born 31 March 1879 and died 8 Sept. 1899. He is buried in Old Providence 
Cemetery, Spalding County, Georgia with his parents.
