The Pike County Journal. Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, October 6, 1899

Mr. J.N. Brooks Dead

Mr. John N. Brooks, who for a number of years has been the esteemed agent of 
the Southern Railway at Molena, Ga., died last Sunday morning at 10:30 o’clock. 
after suffering several days from a stroke of paralysis.

He was one of the best known men of the county, having taught school in Zebulon 
and other places before moving to Molena.

He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his death.

The Journal offers its sympathy to the bereaved ones.
