Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, March 23, 1900 A Good Woman Gone Monday morning at her home about three miles west of Concord, Mrs. Charley Banks breathed her last at the good old age of 79. Mrs. Banks was a noble Christian woman and her long life had been spent doing good to her fellow beings and living up to the golden rule. In the section where she lived and died no one was better known or more widely revered. She leaves a large number of relatives and friends who grieve over her loss but are consoled to some extent by the thought that she is but reaping the reward of a noble Christian life and that there is just another mother in Israel.
