Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, September 21, 1900 Mr. A.H. Harper Dead Mr. A.H. Harper, of Vega, passed away on Sunday, the 16th, at 70 years of age. Mr. Harper was one of the substantial citizens of Pike County, having lives in the county for a number of years. He was a consistent member of the Baptist church at Meansville. Mr Harper had been suffering from ill health for some months and death meant to him release from his sufferings. He was buried from the Meansville Baptist church on Monday afternoon, Sept. 17th. Rev. J.W. Beck preached the funeral and the burial was conducted according to the Masonic ritual, the Zebulon Lodge attending in a body.
