Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, March 8, 1901 D.M. Kendall Dead Mr. David M. Kendall died yesterday after noon at 4 o’clock. He has been sick for several days with an attack of [the] grip which developed into pneumonia from which he died very quickly. Mr. Kendall was about 48 years old, had never been married, having lived with his widowed mother, Mrs. Kendall and his sisters on their farm just below town, where they were getting along very nicely indeed, having recently improved the place by a new dwelling. He was a member of the Methodist church, a good neighbor and a substantial citizen. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. A.B. Pope at the Methodist church today. The Journal joins the entire community in extending its sympathy to the bereaved family.
