Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, June 14, 1901 Mrs. Alex Wells Dead Mrs. Alex Wells, of near Williamson, after a short illness, died on last Saturday and her remains were buried at Williamson Sunday morning. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. C.V. Weathers in the Methodist Church of that place. A large crowd attended the funeral service. Mrs. Wells was a good woman, a member of the Methodist Church. She was held in high esteem by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and several children to lament her death, with whom we deeply sympathize.
