Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, September 6, 1901 Meansville News Mrs. Lydia Barnes died at her home last Thursday at 4 o’clock. The funeral was conducted by Rev. W.B. Whittle at Mt. Zion Friday evening at two o’clock. Mrs. Barnes was a devoted wife, a patient mother and a good Christian, having been a member of the Meansville Baptist church since its organization. Mrs. Barnes is survived by her husband and four children to mourn her loss. To them we extend our sympathy. The cause of her death was nervous prostration.
