Foster Passes Thursday Funeral services for Mr. Richard B. Foster, a prominent 64 year old Spalding County farmer who died at his home on Zebulon road shortly before midnight Thursday, will be held from the Pittman Funeral Home Saturday morning at 10:30 o’clock. Rev. C.B. Bullard, Rev. John G. Lupo and Rev. G.B. Horn will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery with Frank S. Pittman, funeral director, in charge. Pallbearers will be Charlie Griggers, Grady Pitts, D.M. Hunter, W.C. Kindrick, A.M. Betune and R.H. Barnett. Mr. Foster had been ill with pneumonia for several days prior to his death late Thursday night. He had made his home in Spalding County for many years, but was born near Lifsey Springs. In addition to his wife, who was formerly Miss Lula A. Brannan, he is survived by five sons, Raymond, Alton, Amos, and Walter Foster , all of Griffin, and Homer Foster of Thomaston; two daughters, Mrs W.M. Campbell of Griffin, and Mrs. T.B. Key of Macon; and four sisters Mrs. J.E. Alexander of Atlanta; Mrs. C.D. Thompson of Zebulon; Mrs. C.S. Langford, of Dozier, Ala; and Mrs. Lee Ogletree, of Griffin.
