Anderson, died Tuesday afternoon at a private nursing home where she had lived for the past two years. Mrs. Anderson's death followed a serious illness of five months. A life long resident of Pike County and Williamson, she was the daughter of the late Mr. William Jasper Coggin and the late Mrs. Lavonia Carson Coggin. Members of her family were pioneer residents of this section of the state. She was member of the Williamson Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Murray E. Anderson of Williamson; a son-in-law W.P. Carnes of Kewood, Ga., two granddaughters, Miss Charlotte Carnes of Gainesville and Mrs. W.P. Wall of Macon, six great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Williamson Christian Church. The Rev. Marion C. Godard officiated. Burial was in the Providence Baptist Church cemetery at Williamson. Haisten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
