E. Segraves Claimed By Death Funeral services for Mr. Rufus E. Segraves, 81 years of age, will be conducted from the Frank S. Pittman Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Dr. J. Russell Mitchell, of Atlanta, and Rev. Charles B. Holder, pastor of the First Christian church here, will officiate. Burial will be in the Segraves Family cemetery located several miles southeast of Griffin. Pallbearers will be Dr. W.A. Hasty, Judge A.K. Maddox, H.T. McWilliams, Charlie McElroy, H.T. Johnson, A.J. Whalen and Dick Stallings. The body will remain at the Pittman Funeral Home until the hour for funeral services Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Segraves, who was the last immediate survivor of a family of widely known pioneer Georgia citizens, died Sunday afternoon at 4:40 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. C.L. Condit, at 514 South Sixth street. A retired jeweler, he had been in declining health for the past nine years. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. E.E. Kurtz of Marietta, Mrs. C.A. Haskins, of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Anne Sullivan and Mrs. C. L. Condit, of Griffin; two sons, W.C. Segraves, of Jacksonville, Florida, and M.E.
