Seagraves Passes Today After An Extended Illness William Jackson Seagraves, well known resident of the county, died at his home No. 7 Cheatham street, at Experiment this morning. Mr. Seagraves had been ill for the past fourteen months and only a few days ago developed pneumonia which caused his death. In addition to his widow, Mrs. Maggie Moore Seagraves, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. H.L. Bethune, Mrs. C.M. Jackson, and Miss Katie Seagraves all of Experiment, three sons, Wm J Seagraves, Jr., of Charlotte, NC., Grady Seagraves of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Hillman Seagraves of Experiment, Ga. Funeral services will be held from the Mt. Gilead Baptist church in Pike county Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Powell will officiate.
