Mr. Scott of Hollonville Dies

Mr. Thomas Arthur Scott, of Hollonville, died Sunday morning at a private 
nursing home in Jenkinsburg.  His death followed an illness of several months.
Mr. Scott was a life-long resident of Hollonville and was a member of the 
Hollonville Baptist Church.
He was a retired carpenter and farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lizzie Harrison Scott; four sons, Ernest 
Scott of Hollonville, Douglas Scott of Vaughn, Frank Scott of Thomaston and 
Albert Scott of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Clifton Scott of Atlanta; 16 
grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock from the 
Hollonville Baptist Church.  The Rev. George Duncan and the Rev. J.W. Rawls 
will officiate.  Burial will be in the Hollonville cemetery.
Mr. Scott's body will remain at Pittman-Rawls Funeral Home until carried to 
the church to lie in state one hour before the funeral.

Thomas is the son of Zachary T Scott and Annis Hill Scott.
