Mrs. Hancock Buried Today

Mrs. Mary Collie Moore Hancock, widow of Mr. Joel Robert Hancock, died Sunday 
afternoon in a nursing home after an illness of several weeks.
She was a native of Pike County, daughter of the late Mr. Ellis Moore and the 
late Mrs. Sally Holsey Moore.
She and Mr. Hancock made their home in Mt. Zion community of Spalding County 
until his death eight years ago.
Since then she has made her home in Griffin with her brother and sister Mr. 
and Mrs. W.S. Moore, 519 South Sixth street.
She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Her only survivor is her brother, Mr. W.S. Moore of Griffin.
Funeral Services were conducted this afternoon at 4:30 in Haisten's Chapel.  
The Rev. John B. White officiated and burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mary's parents are George Ellis Moore and Sarah (Sally) Holsey Moore.
