Cyrus R. Wilson Dead

Mr. Cyrus R. Wilson, of Hollonville, died last Saturday evening after an 
illness lasting several weeks. Mr. Wilson was about 68 years of age. He was a 
good citizen and had many friends who will miss him.

A Card of Thanks

Mr. Editor: May I through your paper indicate a gratitude which cannot be 
expressed for the sympathy and loving service given me by my friends during the 
illness of my father (? husband).

Floral offerings, expressions of sympathy, and personal visits have been a balm 
to my bleeding heart. All that friendship could do was done. God bless those 
whose thoughts came to me in the deep grief. - Mrs. Nannie Wilson.

Additional Comments:
Cyrus Rudolph Wilson was born in 1828, making him 74 years old at the time of 
his death. The card of thanks also has a misprint as Nannie (Nancy H. Allen) 
Wilson was the wife of Cyrus, not his daughter.
