L. Lynch Victim of Stroke of Paralysis Had Been in Excellent Health Up Until Friday Afternoon, When He Suffered Light Stroke. W.L. Lynch, well-known Griffinite died at his home, 323 North Ninth street, Saturday, following a brief illness. Mr. Lynch was on the streets Friday afternoon feeling as well as usual and went home in good spirits but soon after reaching there, suffered a slight stroke of paralysis. Saturday evening, he suffered another, which caused his immediate death. Mr. Lynch, who was sixty-seven years of age, was born and reared in Pike county, but moved to Griffin about twenty-five years ago and became associated with Walker Brothers Company, for whom he has worked since making his home here. He was popular with a large circle of friends, who are grieved to learn of his passing. Besides his widow he is survived by four sons, C.R., W.I., J.R., and L.H. Lynch. Funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon at three o'clock, Rev. John F. Yarbrough officiated and Frank S. Pittman was in charge of the interment, which was in Oak Hill cemetery. The following gentlemen acted as pall-bearers, J.H. Walker, Jr.; I.N. Drewry, A. Ruskin, Albert Fisher, Jim Evans, John W. Bowden, E.A. Scales, and John F. Green.
