Mrs. W.L. Lynch
Dies Tuesday Night

  Mrs. Lena Lynch wife of the late W L Lynch died Tuesday night at her home, 
3232 North Ninth St. as the result of a stroke which she suffered several days 
ago.
  Mrs. Lynch was born in Pike County on December 3, 1868, the daughter of the 
late John Sikes and Martha Harris Sikes.  She has made her home in this 
section throughout her lifetime.
  Survivors are three sons, W.T. Lynch, L.H. Lynch, and J.R. Lynch, all of 
Griffin; one brother Emsey Sikes, Atlanta; one sister, Mrs. Robert Cauthen, 
Milner.
  Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at Pittman's 
Chapel with Rev. Zach C Hayes, Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak 
Hill cemetery.
  Six grandsons of the deceased will serve as pallbearers.  They are Marvin, 
Woodrow, J.W., J.R., Jack and Eddie Lynch.
