Zebulon, Pike County, Georgia, May 16, 1902 C.K. Reaves Dead Mr. Charlie K. Reaves died last Tuesday at his home in Gonzales county, Texas. Mr. Reaves was 61 years of age, and was born in Zebulon, Pike county, Georgia, but moved to Griffin when quite young and went to the front with the Griffin Light Guards in the Civil War. After the War, he moved to Texas and was made passenger agent of the stage lines from Dallas to El Paso, which position he held until the stage lines were supersede by railway trains. He then received an appointment in the United States Army as quartermaster’s agent, and was stationed at San Antonio. The deceased is survived by a wife and one child, and a sister, Mrs. M.E.
