This community was shocked last Tuesday morning by the sad intelligence of the 
sudden death of Mr. A.L. Lawrence who was found dead in bed. He was well as 
usual on Monday night and the cause of his death is not known, but it is 
supposed to have been heart trouble. He was a good man, a good neighbor and 
well thought of by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and six children who have 
the sympathy of the entire community.
